British Summer Time
Us British people are always longing for a great summer- full of sunshine, weddings and barbecues. To think that this time last year (and previous years to that too!), we were already indulging in heatwaves and digging out our short-shorts to show off our pasty legs...
... This year we've had no such luck! We're still waiting for the sun to show it's face, snow keeps surprising us with it's relentless returning, and now we've well and truly entered into the 'April Showers' phase!
The only taste of the approaching summer we've had so far is the arrival of bikinis, sunglasses and micro-shorts in many stores and window displays! We can only wish that it was us in those holiday scenes, and shopping for our summer wardrobes...
One particular trend taking the nation by storm is bright primary colours and loud geometric patterns, particularly monochromic stripes. Here's a peek at some of my favourite displays of this:
